Join City Park Alliance, City Park Friends and Neighbors, Denver Parks and Recreation, and Denver Park Trust to learn more about the design for the restored bandstand, meet the team bringing it to life, and leave your mark on its history.
After the City Park Bandstand was destroyed in a fire earlier this year, Denver residents and organizations rallied together to raise $250,000 to rebuild this iconic piece of Denver’s history and culture. Construction is underway, and the new bandstand will be ready in time for next summer's City Park Jazz.
New steel beams, along with those salvaged from the previous structure, will be used in the new bandstand. We invite you to sign a beam so a piece of our community stands at the heart of the park for years to come.
Light refreshments will be served. This event is open to the public.
